WHAT IS A QR CODE AND WHY SHOULD I CARE?

What is a QR code and how do I get one?

QR
Code or
Quick
Response Code,
is the trademark for a type of matrix
barcode

(or two-dimensional code) first designed for the automotive industry.
More recently, the system has become popular outside of the industry
due to its fast readability and large storage capacity. The code
consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white
background. The information encoded can be made up of four
standardized kinds (“modes”) of data (numeric,
alphanumeric, byte/binary, Kanji),
or by supported extensions virtually any kind of data.

So
what does it do? Well… if you have a smart phone you can, with the
proper app, scan the code and it will take you to the company’s web
site, or to their latest sale for a particular product—it can even
show you where they are located! Pretty cool stuff, but they don’t
look so great. So if you want one with some color and possibly your
logo give us a call and we’ll put it together for you for $75. Here
is ours:
